back in 2005 when that buzz was going around. I purchased one of those 13 pin round connectors on a pigtail and soldered a switch to it. The switch was mounted in the lower storage bin. It worked very well for any device that wasn't grounded to the car (like an ipod) but my satellite radio had a pretty bad engine whine. I was going to isolate the ground but then the car was destroyed. I still have the setup. Not sure if it is compatible with the clarion units, but it was a nice plug and play system.
I like the suggestion Saabnutt made to wire it into the cassette player, though that may require a bit of homework. I'm not a good electrical guy
