For the C900 & 9000 SRS, the only tools that will help are either the single-purpose Saab SRS tester, or a Tech 2.
The Tech 2 requires an adapter cable be made up. This is because a) the connectors on the Tech 2 cable and the SRS cable in the car are the same gender, and b) the pins are in all the wrong places.
See the link to a pic on Anders' gallery. The attached image is of one I made up for my own use.
The SRS end of the adapter is the one with the pins at the 4 corners.
