New wipers dont fit arms !!

Got a deal on Michelin "Hydroedge" wipers at Costco ($7.95 ea.). They look like quality items but won't fit my 86 9KT . The arms on my car have the U shaped tip but the tip is facing AWAY from the windshield and the instructions show how to instal the blades onto the type of arms that face TOWARDS the windshield !
There are a bunch of plastic parts that probably cover every other type of arm except mine .
Is there a "Windshield Wiper Installation Course" available ?
