Unless you are going with a hardcore racing brake set-up...cross-drilled and slotted are just gimmicks. A set of flat-faced Brembos with the right pads will be much better. The crossed-drilled and slotted takes away from the surface area that can be used to brake. It will also use your pads quicker. They are louder. There is a greater chance of cracking from all the holes. Most places don't want to grind them down even because of all the slots and holes...increasing the chance more of cracks. I know people have liked the Zimmermans rotors in the past, and that may have been more because of the looks than actual improved performance. IMHO you will get a better gain from better pads than cross-drilled and slotted rotors. I have tried a few combinations and the best set-up I have found is flat-faced Brembos with Ferodo DS2500 pads from an E30 M3...do a search for more info on how to fit them.
Good luck,
Chris
