You put a spark plug socket down in there and whale on the top of it with a hammer. (Carefully, of course.)
It depresses the spring follower-valve keeper thing, and the two keeper pieces pop out of their home and let it all come free. You might need to hit it a few times.
Note that you need to be really careful to NOT score or mark the bore in any way, where the hydraulic lifters slide.
The advice is to make some kind of a liner, out of maybe a cut-down milk jug, that you curl up and slide in there.
To reassemble is a bit tougher:
You need a spring compressor of the sort that's shaped like a big letter C, and also a tube with a big gap cut out of one side to let you reach in and apply the two keepers. Those can be made; maybe you can buy something as well but it would be pricey.
Search on here and I think you'll find a pic or details on making something.
Make sure to change the valve stem oil seals when you do this.
You might want to ask a machine shop what they'd charge to put the seals on and put it all back together. They might be needed anyways to verify or machine the valve seats.
