I recently went through this on the passenger seat in our 1991 9000. If I recall there were three relatively small torx fasteners for the plastic cover, two on the side (covered by circular plastic acesss covers) and one at the rear facing upwards (that one was the tricky one to locate). Once you remove the torx fasteners and the cover panel, the switch is fastened by three torx screws, then follow the wiring and remove the wiring connector to the seat wiring. Reverse the process for the new seat switch and you are home free.
