Outsmarting/Overriding Power Seats? Posted by RAVC1 [Email] (#247) [Profile/Gallery] (more from RAVC1) on Sun, 28 Aug 2011 08:36:28 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I failed to position my front power seats before beginning my work. It seems I have two possible options: 1) use the fuse panel connections (#25 & #26) in the power distribution panel above the glove box, 2) manually override the seat motors (how?).
If I can identify the "output" side of the respective fuses to the front power seats I might be able to supply them with power using an adjustable voltage/current power supply (I own the Saab Electrical Systems manual 3:2). I would simply have to ground the power supply in a safe manner, presumably somewhere on the unibody.
I have no idea if I can override the electric motors manually. In fact, I doubt this but thought I should include this alternative in the post.
