inside light for the hatch or trunk turned on sometimes, sometimes the brake lights stuck on. take the negative terminal off at the airport and you should be ok for the return trip!
Also, take the battery to a store (O'reily, autozone, the usual suspects) and have them do a test on it. sometimes takes an hour. if the battery is weak you may be able to get the car to start each day if you drive it each day... but leaving for several days and the charge will not be there. Just did this on a 9-5 wagon that "someone" told them they needed a new alternator. put the voltmeter on the battery, measured it, then started car and measured again. volts up from about 12 and change to 13.5.... battery was faking it!
