Thanks. This is a rainy-day (more like monsoon!) project. Back in the 1980's, Recaro sold an office chair that resembled their car seats. That's where the idea come from. I was sitting in the cold garage and thought I could run 12V DC (from an inverter or battery charger) to the seat to energize the element. Obviously, if the seat was inside, the heat wouldn't be necessary. I'll measure resistance on the element and do the math. Why didn't I think of that?!
