I picked up a 98 CSE w. 85k on it almost twelve months ago to the day. Very clean, essentially a one (meticulous) owner car. I picked it up on eBay for $4700 which I found high in relation to book value (around $5200) for an eBay vehicle. I may be biased but I believe there is already a floor to the depreciation of a nice 9000 without too much mileage and it sounds like yours qualifies so I would not discount yours in relation to mine by 30% for its age at purchase. I would calculate the value of your car as follows:

4700 x .80 (depreciation) x (85 + .5(110-85))/110 (mileage) = $3333

Of course the only value that really matters is the one you assign to it and I bid way over 5 grand for mine because I thought this one had my name on it and felt it would be a while before another one as nice came along (true).
