Thanks for all the advice and assistance.
My '95 Aero got hit on the left front corner just enough for the insurance company to declare it a total loss and pay me $3000 net.
Fortunately, I was able to find a usable LF fender, headlight, corner light a cracked air box. On the shelf I had a broken headlight with a good mounting bracket. I have a good indy paint-and-body guy who pulled it back square, hung the fender, patched one good air box from two broken ones.
A couple of my previous posts detailed my inability to find Aero struts. We ended up putting the LF strut in a press and straightening the very slight bend at the bottom.
A four-wheel alignment set the toe, confirmed everything else was close enough for a seventeen-year-old-total-wreck.
All the above took three weeks of minor hassles, including retitling the car, but ended up costing me less than $1000. On paper, I made $2000 on the deal, but I'd rather not have had the experience.
Actually, there is still $500 on the books to be amortized. I've got to decide what to do with the '96 CS I bought as a $500 parts car but couldn't bear to ruin that nearly perfect body. Oh, well, the tires and wheels are worth $300, so whatever happens, even if it goes to the U-Pick yard, I'll break even on it.
