for the 9k. Though I've installed two new sets (two different cars '96 CSE and '96 Aero), the first pair of struts were perfect. The second pair were a bit softer than my very used Aero struts, though they were larger in diameter than the first pair. I called Koni and asked them about it and they said that's how they are making them now (this was a few years ago). Anyway, the most dramatic improvement in handling came when I replaced my rear sway-bar bushings. Really put a smile on my face...
