Last summer my 9K was out in LA with a daughter. At 183K the clutch was done and she took it to Walter Wong. He and I talked on the phone and he said to order the parts and ship them to him. But he said to get OEM parts because the aftermarket pieces were too likely to fail. I got everything--clutch, master and slave, throw-out bearing, hoses, etc. All OEM or OES from thesaabsite. And they also recommended the OEM or OES for the clutch job.
I'm not sure there's a lot of difference between OES and OEM, but the AFT pieces can be made really cheap unless you are getting stuff from a company known for quality. And with hydraulics, I don't want some Chinese knock-off to save a few bucks.
