Wonder why all T7 block revised to the new pressure relief valve?
The T7 relief valve would open later than T5 around 10 psi.
I did my own test and found that T5 relief valve open at around 40 psi, whils T7 open around 50psi.
Rule of thumb, 10psi per 1000rpm. So if you rev T5 engine above 40psi often, that's the way they gone.
I've seen a lot 9000 engine die coz of bearing gone even little mileage as 100k mi. I don't think it's a normal wearing problem.
