Feedback: third brake light

As promised, i should give feed back on the issue of the dead third brake light.
As suggested, I found an open circuit as a result of the probably fatique wire where the harness flexes when the hatch is opened and closed.
I spliced in a new wire between a "loose connector" (partnumber 9124090) with a white wire and the third brake light, resulting in resolving the problem. The "loose connector" is probably the connector for the trailer.
But .... the pictogram (dashboard) is still lighting up.
The filament monitor looks OK, no corroded traces on the back of the board.
The other large connector (2 pieces) a few inches from the monitor, (the H8-4??), has more than one white wire.
This large connector has a male part (number 9123399)with THREE white wires.
Male part: one white wire on pin 1 (always hot) and two white wires on pin 6 (never hot, nor by pressing the brake pedal)
Female part: has no pin (!) on position 6.(female part of this connector has nunmber 4117461 PBTP), so no connection inside this connector on pin 6 at all.
I did't found any other connector in that area.
This part of the car looks 100% OEM, no traces of fiddling.
Do I have to live with the lighting up pictogram fot the rest of the cars live? Dreary, as my 9K has no further issues.
Thanks
