Squeak-ectomy: removing panel under passenger airbag?

I've managed to locate a persistent squeak coming from the soft panel under the passenger's side airbag; on the open road, when I press on it, the squeak goes away, and when I let go, it comes back. I can't figure out how to remove it though; removing the two torx screws hidden under the covers isn't enough. Do I have to remove some of the larger bits of dash around it as well, or (gulp) the airbag itself? It's a '95 Aero.
