"Stumbling" at ~3400 rpm Posted by aerogenous [Email] (#1303) [Profile/Gallery] (more from aerogenous) on Thu, 18 Apr 2013 20:27:30 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My 97 Aero (5sp; Abbott Racing Stage I ecu) was running like a top till it started "stumbling" hard when revved to about 3400. I think this is the rev limiter kicking in when it should not. It does this once the car's warmed up and even with no load. The check engine light flickers or stays on if it's under hard acceleration. The code is PO133 with a note about the Crank Position Switch. I had a similar problem when I first got the car and solved it by swapping the MAP Sensor with a used one. Can anyone advise where to start on this? Thanks.
