Thanks for your responses. However, I am still unclear on the proper procedure to remove the rear wheel arch trim.
The patient is a 97 CS. On the bottom (at each end) of the trim piece are the familiar threaded posts that are held in place by the familiar 8mm nut. Above these are four other "posts" (the EPC refers to them as clips) which are not held in place with nuts. They seem to be pressed in to what the EPC refers to as bushings. I have two other 9000s in my driveway (a 96 and 97 CSE) and they seem to be the same. It seems that the right approach is to remove the nuts on the bottom and then pry the upper "clips" out their bushings with a thin flat bladed screwdriver. Is this the "right" way to do it?
