Note that the opening/intake for the clutch hydraulics is not too far from the top of the brake reservoir, certainly not on the bottom. This is designed so that the car will have no clutch (almost immovable) before it has no brakes. When you bled the clutch you may have let the fluid level go slightly below the intake, allowing air into the systems - been there, done that, scared myself. Have a close look at the reservoir to see what I'm talking about.
