My clutch was slipped last year under high load (up a high, 3rd gear and up, full boost). I initially thought it may have been due to some antifreeze that had leaked from a hose. Shortly after the slipping started I pressure bled the clutch and then had no clutch. I replaced the master cylinder. At that point the car was sitting for the winter. When I drove it this year the clutch was no longer slipping, so I believe it was the master cylinder that was at fault. Not sure how you check for that though, maybe look at the inspection hole to try to determine whether there is any pressure on the throughout bearing? My master cylinder was about 10 years old, though with only around 100,000 km on it.
