I'm battling a mis-firing issue Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Wed, 9 Jul 2014 14:09:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
How sensitive is the computer to register a mis-firing dic? My new/used 9000 is running like crap. When I bought it the car acted like it just took 26 packets of speed and it just hauled. Now I just drove it and good gosh I can't even believe its the same car. Major misfiring at startup and all the while its running. When the motor reaches operating temps I do believe the misfiring slows a bit but I could of just got use to a poor performing car at that point. I replaced the spark plugs in search of the problem. But multi misfiring is still happening. The car dosent get out of base boost anymore .. What a drag
Only other car I have that has a direct ignition cassette is the 9-5 and its computer is hyper sensitive and will throw a motor light at the first few misses.
Did Saab make the 94 the same way? Where else should I be looking to solve this misfiring issue.
As for the spark plugs was running ngk 7es then bought new 7eix and the problem is still the same.
