Well, you have to take apart and completely reassemble the transmission, because the differential is the first part that goes in. Not a job most would consider straightforward. It would make more sense to just buy the transmission with it already installed. My trans is rock solid, rebuit with cryo-treated gears when I installed the Quaife. Haven't decided if I'm parting with it yet, I have to replace the master cylinder and if that gets it on the road again I'll probably hang on to it.
