Thank you, Simon. I'm quite aware of "the procedure", as well as of the reasons behind it. Must say, us curious math types don't put much stock in "you will never find that number". My bolts are the original non-torque-to-yield ones operating within their elastic limit. If published data isn't available, I can always use my biggest "bendy" type wrench to finish the last 45 degrees. My wife can video the dial, and I can concentrate on the angle.
