I believe that the fuel injectors pulse when a ground signal is supplied by the computer-when the grounding point on the intake manifold corrodes (sitting for three years could do that) there is no ground or intermittent ground to the injector so no fuel is "pulsed" during each revolution-my experience for this problem is entirely from C900s. If I am incorrect on this for the 9000 someone please correct me. However your symptoms match that experience. Remove the grounding bolt on the intake manifold, clean up the ring terminals and the bolt, re-install, and see if that immediately solves the problem. It's a relatively easy check to do. You could also provide another ground using an alligator clip on the existing grounding wire. Clip the other end to the throttle cable's mounting bracket or mounting bolt (better). I will check my 9000 and confirm if this is also the case with T5...pretty sure it is.
