So basically it sounds like you can bring in any 9000 in the U.S. that you can find since the newest one is over 20 years old. Of course a problem is going to be that any found close to the Canadian border are likely to have rust problems unless not driven much in winter. You might have to travel south or west to find a real nice one. At least now you know there is no legal impediment.
