I have not looked for this specifically, but you can "probably" turn off or disable the alarm with a Tech 2 or ISAT. I "think" you can set sensitivity for your alarms, also. I have a clone Tech 2 and I can plug it in this weekend and take a looksee around in the body file on one of my 9000's. The door lock issue may be related to your microswitch in the door handle. Do you notice any difference in function if you lock and unlock via the PS front key switch? I always forget that the 9000 has a switched lock on the PS because my stupid GMC truck only has a keyed door handle on the DS front door. That's really handy when your DS door lock is frozen solid and you don't have a working remote. You can't get in the vehicle. I also have a full set of older factory service manuals (pre-1991) but I bet the alarm system is the same. FYI, I wanted to get a vanity plate for my "new" 9000 Aero but SNAAB was already taken in Michigan. I still have my old NH "SNAAB" plate somewhere.
