well here we go, i am going to get blasted for this but...
you still have oil pressure, that is a good thing, if i were you i would run v VDO/autometer oil pressure gauge, if you see DRASTIC change in the oil pressure while running at a constant speed then you have a problem, there are a lot of contributing factors here, if i were you and i was scared i would find a cheap motor at salvage and maybe even re-seal it, but don't bother messing around with haalf dead parts, you are just wasting your time... if it starts and runs when you tell it then you can't have that big of an oiling problem.
