Pressure bleeding

I'm convinced that I need to pressure bleed my system after fixing the hose to the metal tube (see previous post below from JAS concerning "line popped off"). After rigging up my system via one of the two ways mentioned in Quasi's site, approximately how many pumps will I have to complete before having to top off the reservoir? I don't want to introduce even more air into the system by pumping for too long. Maybe it will be obvious after I get started, but I just wanted to get a rough idea before I began.
