Since my car is still getting pretty hot but not overheating (only in heavy stop and go traffic), and knowing that I already replaced the thermostat switch on the radiator, I am starting to suspect one of two things.
1) the radiator is not operating properly (clogged up?)
2) the thermostat is acting improperly (sticking?)
Any other thoughts? And finally, since the jump-wire test worked, does this mean that the fans will come on as designed and when hot? I ask this because I only notice the fan running when I turn the car off.
Thanks for all your help.
