I bought a 94 cse last spring with 81K miles - it drove OK, but I didn't get it checked out by a Saab mechanic and wish I had. I've had a LONG list of repairs (timing chain and gears, water pump, idler pulley, electric relays, window mechanism, among the major ones). None of these were apparent when I bought the car. I think I'm caught up with the big problems, and I really like the way the car runs and handles, but my advice is to spend some money up front on getting a saab master tech to examine your proposed purchase BEFORE you buy.
GOOD LUCK
