I have same car, I love it. I had blower failure too this summer. Remove the cover of the aquarium (under hood just infront of winshield) unplug the power connector to the fan assembly which is in middle, run battery juice to plug to test the motor. Most likely it is shot considering the age of our chariots. The dang thing runs full time if you don't reprogram the startup mode or shut it down after you are on the highway. I had my dealer replace mine as my back doesn't like to argue bent over for that long and an afternoon off of work to go to my dealer and walk along the Wabash River for awhile was better than work. But there is a mountain of info on this site in past BB messages which link how to pages. And the motor itself is available for about $95 vs. the saab replacement motor and squirrel cage fan assembly for >$200. Sometimes the squirrel cage can be cracked sez Saab. The only Clarion repair is availble through the dealer for Saab Clarions as far as I know. Seems there is some back BB's on this too. These are complex units which take alot of road shock, thermal stress from being in a closed car, and then the dust comes in. How long has your vcr being working and how many times has it been cleaned? Good luck, Lu.
