turn key to ignition position, move your turn signal lever to up or down, go out and see whether your left or right side cornering light is on or not.
The light is supposed to light up on the side you are turning into. Newer 9Ks (since '93) don't have them. My '92 has them but my '95 doesn't.
However, the newer 9-5 and 9-3 use the fog light as the cornering lights. If you watch one when it signals a turn, you can see ONE fog light is on on the side the car is signalling to turn.
Sometimes, the bulb maybe loose in the socket or not put in properly. Do the above and see if you get 12-13V out of the socket BUT MAKE SURE YOU TURN THE SIGNAL LEVER FIRST TO THAT SIDE otherwise the light is not supposed to be activated.
Let me know, have fun :-)
