Have always thought of getting some REAL driving lights and mounting them above the bumper. Have tried driving lights in the fog light position, which is better than none at all, but quite a big compromise in several areas. I have no problem with the wiring, but my question has always been:
Is the bumper simply a foam core covered with the plastic skin? If so, I could just drill a hole all the way through the bumper to mount the lights, to provide a very secure mount. Has anyone done this? It was actually make for a better mount for the fogs as well, I hate those stupid 'U' brackets on my car!
I've got the 55/100w H4 European spec headlights, but still on some nights, would like a bit more light farther down the road than those provide.
