Check out Quasi's site, specifically:
http://quasimotors.gar.net/core.htm
And the Townsend site (http://www.townsendimports.com).
The job is easier in the 91 and later 9000 than in the earlier cars. It is still fairly difficult, but with patience you can probably do it in a long afternoon. A dealer will probably charge in the $600-$700 range, new blower included.
If the heater core is showing any signs of leaking (coolant smell when the heat is on, especially on DEFROST, or fogging of windshield), consider replacing the heater core while you're at it. It's only a little additional work, and this isn't a job to do twice. Leaking heater cores are fairly common on older 9000's.
Good luck!
