My apscers fit snugly on the hub, once you tighten the lug bolts down. :) I only have spacers in the rear of my car (using 15 x 7 wheels with an offset of +35mm). How thick are your spacers though? Mine I think are 5 or 6 mm, so not very thick. They do look pretty generic though, and they also do not give me a comfy feeling. They're not even the same exact diameter as the hub or wheel surface mating to the hub.
To get a real comfy feeling, I still think I'll need to someday find a wheel that I like, which does not require the use of spacers..
