If I were you I'd seriously think about, while others have said it might never have to be replaced. You'll kick yourself if you wait a week too long. I regretted it because the motor I had was very strong and burned no oil before that incident. Take off the valve cover and inspect the chain for wear, extension of the tensioner, cam sprokets. You can roll in a new chain or take the vavle cover off and replace all the componants you can get your hands on. Balance chains and sprockets included. I just recently, on the used motor I replaced the orig with, found low oil preasure. The sproket on the end of the crank had sheered off some teeth and they were passed through the oil pump. You could put a grand into the job and end up with a motor that could run another 200k. Depends on what you want to do with the car. good luck.
