I sold off most of my equipment after I crashed my 900T, which I competed in IASCA with a few times. It hurts not having an incredible sytem, but in time... The one thing I kept was my Pioneer deh900R, 3 6.5 volt outputs, 13 band eq, etc... I love it! By the way the difference between an active and passive crossers, is that a passive crossover works with speaker level sound and consists of capacitors, inductors, and resistors. (this what a compnent set comes with) Acitve crossover work elctronically on the actually signal-like if there are high pass and low pass filters on your amps. You can set up components with active cross over if you do a one channel, one speaker set up this can be very noce sounding, but can get costly as you need more amps, and bandpass crossover ability for your midbasses and midranges.
