I think that all this stuff about brands of filters is foolish. Larger size filters make soom sense, and maybe if you can get the micron specs too. But filters are bascially the same, coming from the same factory with only different labels. The only thing I would be worried about with a larger filter is the relief valve rating. If you have a major problem that would clog the filter quickly, then the relief valve will allow oil to pass through to prevent total blockage. Would be nice if the human heart came with one of those wouldn't?

Can anyone give some scientific filtering levels of different brands???
