power steering reservoir must be moved

G'Day. The windshield washer line to the tank got disconnected and several attemps to find the main line going to tank did not bear even with the bottom panels removed, so off goes the right front tire and the wheel liner. Sure enough the winshield line was right there behind the wheel liner, not a good design for maintainability. While there I noticed that power steering fluid traces were all over the belt, pulleys despides the fact that I put in new clamps on the lines going to the reservoir. I bet that most 86-93 9000 owners would report fluid traces in that critical area.
I changed the the belt and put a thick plastique sheet around the reservoir, a temporary measure. A more permanent solution would be to move the reservoir to the back maube close to the brake fluid reservoir.
If you own a 86-93 9000 and managed to keep that area dry, please tell us your secret.
Any other suugestion ?
Thanks
Daren
