Ajay, I can't say for sure because my '92 has a '98 engine in it.
However, I'm 99% sure that the hose you have disconnected in
the picture below is not related to any of the turbo pressure control
circuit. The turbo gauge operates off of the "y-hook", as you call it.
One end goes to the intake manifold, the other to the hooter valve.
The disconnected hose could be related to the cruise control. Try
plugging the end of the hose. That should stop any pressure leaks.
Then go for a quick spin - see if you're getting full boost. If not, then
I'd suspect your BPC solenoid - they're notorious for having high
mortality rates.
