Had the unexpected pleasure of having the idler pulley on my 93 Aero self destruct on Christmas morning right before we were to leave for the airport. To make matters worse, it was 15 degrees below zero. Get the picture?
Fast forward to 3 days later, I've got a new belt and pulley.. the old belt did not take anything else with it and all I've got to do is swap pulleys and the belt. Easier said than done. The tensioner pulley WOULD NOT COME OFF. No amount of torque would loosen that thing. My question is has anyone ever done this procedure and if so can they offer any advice on the tensioner pulley.
Thanks
Darrell
