Hello
I have som trouble with the front door (on the drivers side) on my SAAB 9000 '90. I Cannot lock nor unlock it with the key. It works perfect to lock it from the inside. I have tried to demouint the locking meknaism but cannot realy understand how it is ment to work. I can turn the key both ways and thing are moving around the lock. There seme to be a white plastic bar that should be moved by the key and lock the door, but it seemes to be very static (doesn't move when I turn the key). It is connected to the same metallic piece that the indoor looking tab is conected to. Am I correct? Should it be moved by the movement of the key, and how exactly should it be connected to the cylinder of the key?
Does anyone know how I can get the doorhandle demounted from the door. I find two bults that I can unscrew, but it semes to be imposible to get it all of the dorr.
There is also a white wire comming from the key cylinder, that I suppose hase more to do with the alarm?? Can anyone explain how the alarm is suppose to work. It is very sporadic!!
Last question: The fuse connector that is intended to go for the AC (airconditioner) has only one metalic connection in which to put the fuse. Could it be a reason for the AC not to work?? Is there a reason why anyone should have taken it away??
Hope you have a great mew years!!
BR/
