Yes...plugs NGK BCPR7ES-II with gap set at 0.9mm, it is 9000 CSE LPT Auto with 120,000 on the clock and properly maintained/serviced by Saab dealership at the required intervals. If I moderately increase the speed through gears and get to 110mph, no problem but if I am cruising at around 80mph and want to overtake or increase speed with sudden increase in the revs, there is a short burst of 2 or 3 cut-out jerks/hiccups which stop if I decrease the acceleration/revs. Even in town driving, if I floor the accelerator in the first gear, it goes OK until it reaches around 4000rpm and then repeats the hiccups. This appears to be linked to sudden boost and certain rpm....it does not happen if I am cruising gently and increasing speed moderately. Looking at the service history, it does not appear that anyone has ever messed around or adjusted the light-turbo preload.
I also have a earlier (1987) 9000SE Turbo which is at present "resting" owing to a troublesome tranny. I note that this also has the "valve" next to the radiator with the 3 plastic pipes from the turbo unit. This has the 3 pipes connected horizontally rather than vertical with the new valve on the CSE....would it work to swap these valve just to check??
Thank You for your views.
