Murphy has struck again...and he legislated a headache for me... Posted by Morgan [Email] (#1972) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Morgan) on Fri, 31 Aug 2001 00:17:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just returned from two (maybe more?) weeks of being out of town. I went over to where my car is parked (Chicago, one forgets where you park if you don't have a rented spot) and guess what? I see water spots turning to mold spots on the interior windows of the car. I thought that I had a leak somewhere. I got in and SLOSH. The carpet had an inch of water standing on it. All four pans on the floor were under water. I tried to start the car. The entire dashboard lit up like I was Sammy Sosa and I just hit number 63. The car would not run (cranked but died). I guess I am going to have the shop pick it up and look at it.
Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem? Besides wet-vacing the car out, what should I do? Am I going to get hit with a big bill? (I just spent over $2,000 on the A/C system for new compressor, hoses, ACC II, etc.). I am really concerned. Help!
