a Dawe's MBC in my Aero I thought I'd chime in that it appears to be a safe alternative to the BPC IF you can excercise reason and not turn it up to silly levels. I run Sunoco 94, and have started adding Toluene to further raise the octane. This is not for performance, but as a safety net.
Installation is simple. I clamped the MBC next to the air return from the BPC on the air inlet, running about 5" of silicone hose to the turbo and to the actuator. Short lengths of hose will keep boost spiking down to a minimum. I closed off the BPC's T and W outlets with a small loop of silicone hose.
A MBC gives one instant, adjustable, precise, and sustained boost. For futher discussion, do a search on Dean's comments on MBC's from the Performance list.
