To a.snaab et al: Saab pricing is much higher in Rocky Posted by jmike [Email] (#923) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jmike) on Thu, 8 Nov 2001 11:20:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Mountain area. I wrote ealier in the week about 93 Aero, and what was a fair price for that car. Private party here in Denver asking 10,500. Everyone who responded said that was way too high. A.snaab said wholesale on the car was 5,000, and 7,500 should be tops a private party could get.
Go to Kelley Blue Book, or Nada, and check out a car, using Denver Zip code, then try it with east coast zip code. On this particular car, there is a 1,000 difference in value between Denver and Boston.
If someone back east can find me a car in this good of a shape for 7,500, I'll fly back there and buy it, and pay a $500 finder's fee.
What I'm tryig to do, is sell my wife's 93 cse non turbo, and my 92 9000 non turbo, and buy a good turbo. My wife is ill, and drives very rarely, so we decided we could make do with just one car, but she needs an auto, and my 92's a stick, and her 93's too doggy for me to drive up and down the mountain to Denver everyday. I was hoping I could sell them both for about what a decent turbo would cost, but I'll probably be lucky if I can get 7,000 for both cars.
