No I haven't sold the '98 yet, and it's still for sale, but I'm not going to give it away. It's just too good to let go for a low price. It's my favorite car of all time, I hate to even have it listed, but since my divorce, my money situation is pretty bad. With any luck my situation will improve before a buyer appears.
My '92 is a straight 9000, not even an "S" model. I bought it new, 120k miles ago and it still looks great. Not a drop of oil under the hood and those tan cloth seats still look like new. People are amazed when they see it.
I think you have the best of both models in your car, because I like the looks of the '92 better than the newer ones, but that '98 Aero engine/transmission is fantastic.
About San Luis Obispo. I've been going out there about every 6 to 8 weeks for the past year and a half to see my kids. It's a really cool town. Has one of the most pleasant downtowns of any town I've seen in America. It's a real downtown, not just a tourist type place. There are two colleges there, Cal Poly, and Questa. Which one has the posting you mentioned? You should go have a look, I think you'd like it. Mike and Dave of SPG 9 both have day jobs in San Luis too.
Speaking of snow, Boulder is getting about 6 inches tonight.
