Cool. I was wondering what to do when my heater valve starts to go out. You don't need to worry about lack of circulation unless you bypassed using the small nipple on the water pump cover. This is the hose running from the head to the water pump cover and then to the heater. The head to the water pump cover is THE bypass circuit. It circulates all the time. This was changed in the 900 where this is no bypass hose and the heater valve always passes water.
