turn signal weirdness Posted by inca99 [Email] (#1862) [Profile/Gallery] (more from inca99) on Tue, 4 May 2010 07:50:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Electrical gremlins always tend to puzzle me more than other things. Not really sure what's going on here: I have the larger turn signal pod on my 77 ems. The d/s works fine on all functions (turn sig, reverse light, parking light.) The pass/side is another story. When the headlights/park lights are off, the turn sig functions normally. But when they are switched on, the turnsignal starts activating the other lights (like the reverse light and the parking light) and it blinks really slowly and dimly. Also, the parking light on this side is brighter than the other side. I have noticed that the flat connectors that contact the bulb are kind of loose. I dunno - I'm at a loss.
Is there a relay that controls this function? Not really sure where to start looking to isolate the problem.
thanks.
