Hi,
I drive a 1984 99 GL 2.0l. My problem i that my car have problem wiith low ideling when its cold. I have the choke pulled out, and i starts, but the ideling drops very low and the car stops if I don't give som more gas. When it's warm it has a Ok ideling.
So I started checking for something that might be the trouble. The sparkplugs was normal, the carbutettor i dont know so much about, I didn't find the mark for the carburettor oil ( I opened the top and looked inside) , so left it alone. But when i came to the air-filter, it was kind of dirty, I have to change it, but in the bottom of the containor it was oil, or oil-like substance. It looks like its comming from the carburettor, at least the thick large hose down from the carburettor is oily
What coud be the problem. I will change it but what's with the oil? I don't think it should be there!
I resently bougth it, and its a bit much oil in the engine, a bit over max when the motor is cold.
please help.
